Before founding Avos BioEnergy, Mr. Underwood was a member of the Executive Board of Directors for the Central Maryland Chamber of Commerce, and a board member of Mid-Atlantic Propane Gas Association.
Mr. Underwood has led, worked, or assisted on some of the largest construction projects in the Mid Atlantic, including customers such as Google, Amazon, and the University of Maryland. Mr. Underwood’s extensive network in the region provides the project team expert commercial insight and operational functionality, providing Avos with businesses, landowners, farmers, subject matter experts, engineers, and executives to offer insight and opportunity to accelerate innovation and upscaling throughout the region.

In 2022, Walters formed an elite team of researchers, educators, subject matter experts, and fuel operators to create a conglomerate effort united with a shared vision, to find and use the best, cutting edge science and technology to empower students and create sustainable technologies for emerging economies.
