Value-based climate commodities and economic opportunities for distressed communities and emerging economies. Our first project is to validate a bamboo-based biodiesel manufactured in the Southeast U.S. that is cleaner to produce than petroleum diesel and corn ethanol-based alternatives.
• 86% fewer greenhouse gasses produced than petroleum diesel production.
• 97% less wastewater generated as compared to the production of petroleum diesel.
• Nontoxic, biodegradable, and can reduce hazardous waste by up to 96%.
• Emits 11% less carbon monoxide than diesel.
• 56% more effective than electric vehicles at reducing carbon.
• Increased engine efficiency yields 93% more energy than the energy used in its production.
Avos BioEnergy has developed a carbon-neutral, energy efficient methodology to create a drop-in biodiesel from bamboo and non-conventional organisms that don't require mixing with petroleum-based products like traditional ethanol production. Avos BioEnergy Biorefineries provide economic, ecological, and workforce development, initially in rural communities, by creating jobs and empowering economically disadvantaged communities to sustainably rebuild through green energy projects.
